The Boynton Canyon Vortex is another amazing experience. I would allow at least an entire day to discover the many wonderful trails. From Sedona, heading toward Cottonwood on Highway 89A, turn right on Dry Creek Road. Follow Dry Creek Road until you see signs directing you to Boynton Canyon. Don't forget the camera! If you call in advance you could have a wonderful lunch at The Enchantment Resort. Be spell bound and awestruck at the beautiful red rock cliffs as you eat in the most beautiful restaurant. This area has very powerful energy in it.
Courthouse Butte Vortex is located east of Bell Rock Vortex. Courthouse Butte is located off Hwy 179, just north of the Village of Oak Creek. There are many turnoffs where you may park your car and follow trailheads that will lead you toward this massive vortex. There is also a public parking area south of Bell Rock where you can park your car and easily reach Court House Butte. This powerful energy center juts up from the earth with great strength and determination. It looks like a Native American chief wearing a headdress looking up to the sky asking the Great Sprit to bless the people.
Airport Mesa Vortex is one of the best views of Sedona. The vortex is located about half way up Airport Road off 89A. There is a huge free parking area on the left. This is a very nice vortex where you may have a spiritual experience and watch an amazing sunset. You can see the Village of Oak Creek, Mingus Mountain and Jerome from this amazing 360 degree vista point.
Cathedral Rock Vortex (pictured above)–This is known as the most famous and most photographed vortex in the world. Drive on Highway 89A toward Cottonwood to Upper Red Rock Loop road. Turn left and drive to Chavez Ranch Road. Turn left to Crescent Moon Park. This is such a beautiful place. The two spires located in the center of the Cathedral Rock are known as The Lovers. It is an amazing vortex.
Schnebly Hill Vortex is a wild ride you may strongly consider before venturing out on the road. I'd definitely recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle as the terrain leading up to the top of this vortex is very rough and the sights are incredible! See Sedona in a whole new view. This road takes you to one of the highest plateaus in Sedona and if you stay on it long enough you will land on Highway 17 headed toward Flagstaff! Drive up Schnebly Hill Road and be amazed!
